Aaron Hoel holds a M.A. from the University of Kansas and three (3) B.S. degrees from the University of Northern Iowa. He has experience working in all facets of sponsored programs management, including serving as the Primary Investigator for federal grants and contracts and grants from the Library of Congress. He is currently the Director for the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at Frostburg State University.
Mr. Hoel has conducted national and international workshops on grant planning, writing, development and procurement at various universities and nonprofit organizations. While having worked with dozens of federal and non-federal sponsors, he is most skilled at successful procurement of grants and contracts from the U.S. Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of State, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
