Michael Rivera has developed a substantial portfolio related to grants throughout his career, including: grant writing, proposal review and evaluation, grant management, process and system development and partnership development.

He has been successful in acquiring over $35 million in federal, state and private foundation grants for school districts, post-secondary institutions, faith-based organizations, small businesses, tribal governments, municipalities and non-profit organizations.

Mr. Rivera holds a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. He is a Certified Trainer in Total Quality Theory, Process and Tools from Productivity Quality Systems and a recipient of a Certificate of Achievement from the Harvard University Education Leadership Institute.
