This webinar will cover the grant post-award phase, which consists of implementation, reporting of progress, completing the closeout requirements, compliance throughout all phases of the grant cycle, and audits. Changes of scope, budget adjustments, principal investigator changes and others will be discussed.

Mr. Andrey Strakhov

Andrey Strakhov has dealt with all aspects of grant writing throughout his career at the Grant Training Center and the U.S. Department of Transportation. He has extensive experience in federal donor and foundation grant award search, application process, procurement and award management. He has taught numerous workshops on the fundamentals of grant writing. Mr. Strakhov has also developed teaching materials and resource directories for such agencies as the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Energy (DOE).

He holds a master’s degree in public policy from American University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California (San Diego).

General Questions:

A. Our training sessions tend to fill quickly, and our registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We advise that you register as far in advance as possible to guarantee your spot.
A. If a class is full, we will pull it from the schedule. If you can see a workshop, course, or webinar, you can sign up for it.
A. When you sign up for a workshop, course, or webinar, we email you a confirmation notice. This email also contains an attachment providing the basic details about the course, such as: location, what to bring, and a few dining recommendations.
A. Each person traveling to our workshop has a different route, method of transportation, and budget for travel, so we leave travel planning up to the individual.
A. We will be happy to review the executive summary or abstract and discuss the direction of your grant with you.
A. You will receive a Participant Contact List by email after the workshop. Each person registered for the workshop who did not opt out will be on the list.
A. Each link to any of our online training is only for the specific individual who registered. It is expressly prohibited to share the link or stream. Each person who will be participating or observing must register separately.
A. We have various partners with whom we mutually offer courses.
A. Full course transcripts are not available. Transcripts are provided on each slide for those with accessibility needs.
A. All materials provided before, during, and after training are copyrighted and are solely for use by the registered participant. Any reproduction, distribution, or transfer is expressly prohibited. This includes all information directories, work books, and any other materials provided unless otherwise specified.

Payment Questions:

A. We understand that funds sometimes need to be allocated prior to payment, so we allow registrations without requiring immediate payment. An invoice will be sent after registration.
A. We accept credit cards, checks, and purchase orders.
A. Yes. Further, the term 'US FUNDS' must be pre-printed on the check by the bank. We do not accept personal checks from international payees.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Grant Training Center (GTC) has the sole and absolute discretion to reschedule and cancel all workshops. In the event of such a cancellation, GTC will attempt to notify attendees two weeks prior to the scheduled workshop. If a participant has paid for the cancelled workshop and is unable to attend the rescheduled session, he/she will receive either a refund or a credit toward a future workshop.

In no event shall GTC be responsible for travel arrangements or other costs related to or arising from workshop attendance or GTC’s rescheduling or cancellation of the workshop. Participants should contact GTC prior to making travel arrangements to ensure the workshop is taking place.

If you are unable to attend the workshop and wish to receive a full refund, GTC must be notified at least seven (7) business days prior to the start of the workshop.

If you cancel less than seven business days prior to the start of the workshop, no refund will be given. Instead, you will receive credit for a future workshop, which is valid for one (1) year.

Force Majeure: If a workshop is canceled due to reasons of Act of God or nature, war, riot, strike, or labor dispute, the cancellation policy will not apply and the fee will transfer to the rescheduled workshop. If participants cannot attend the rescheduled date, the registration fee can be utilized for any Grant Training Center workshop during a period of exactly one (1) year from the date of the original workshop.

Individual Membership Cancellation: Once an individual membership has been paid and processed, members will have three (3) days to cancel for a full refund. After the three (3) day period, no refunds will be issued.
